Engaging with worldwide publishing company Conde Nast on multiple projects this year, Code and Theory kicked off the relationship with the launch of Fashionsnightout.com, an event hosted by Vogue and touted as the largest night in fashion year-round.
Code and Theory was tasked to design and build a retailer and consumer destination site - one that would showcase the breadth and reach of FNO across the world, and provide valuable information for fashionistas to plan their night out in NYC on September 10th, 2010.
The vision was to create an engaging yet functional interface for consumers to easily create an itinerary of stores to visit, and for Vogue to approve, manage, and message hundreds of retailers looking to participate in Fashion's Night Out. Code and Theory led in the user experience, design, front-end and back-end development of the site. Of note, Code and Theory created a custom content management system with tailored workflow processes and email marketing tools that augmented and simplified Vogue's management of this major event.
