On April 29, Dan Gardner, Code and Theory's co-founder and Creative Director, UX, took part in a panel at the latest Talk NYC conference, which explored trends in digital storytelling from a publisher's perspective.
He joined MasterCard's VP of Global Communications Jennifer Stalzer, Atavist CEO Evan Ratliff, BBDO New York's EVP/ECD Lauren Connolly and Contagious Insider's Strategy Director Arwa Mahdawi, for a discussion on real-time storytelling.
The panel examined how brands can reorganize themselves to be more like newsrooms and how newsrooms can shift their mentalities to think more like brands.
The Talk NYC: The Digital Storytelling Conference explores why digital storytelling is key to successfully creating an organic community. It's a one-day event that connects publishers, tech companies and brands with a carefully selected group of experts, visionaries and leaders to talk about trends in digital storytelling—and what new developments to get ready for.
